No more broken q-tips or chipped fingernails. No more time wasted trying to find carbon residue stuck at that weird-ass angle. Just sit down, take the bolt out of the receiver, and spin one of these around inside the chamber a few times. Job done. When I discovered these it was as if Moses came down from Sinai with the Commandments, life was forever changed. They’re a great way to bargain too, dudes will do almost anything to use your chamber cleaners. Except buy their own damn cleaners. I really can’t recommend them enough, not the “best” tool available to an infantryman, at least as most would think of it, but star cleaners make life much less frustrating and annoying.
He’d pick me up, and we’d stop at a local HotSopt gas station for coffee, his treat, though I told him he didn’t have to go all that far. I tried to slide gas money his way, but he insisted mostly on taking care of that himself, too. I got to thinking this guy might really actually like me, and it did make me happy, but I tried to do things for him to keep us even while i saved up for a new car. Unfortunately, along with these stops to the HotSpot, he would get disproportionately angry at the gas station workers, who he felt “harassed him”, by just happening to be in the coffee area cleaning while we got our coffee each morning, something I personally thought nothing of. They were just tidying up their workplace, right.
